Street Fighter X Tekken Vita Coming October 19th

The long known about PlayStation Vita release of Street Fighter X Tekken has finally been given a release date by Capcom. The handheld fighter has now been confirmed for October 19th in Europe.

Along with the standard roster on the console versions, the PlayStation Vita will receive a free download code which allows you to unlock 12 new playable characters: Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy and Sakura from the Street Fighter side, and Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson and Lei Wulong from the Tekken side.

Probably the coolest new feature is that the game will allow Cross-Platform Play meaning that PlayStation Vita players can go head to head against PlayStation 3 owners.
