DONTNOD Entertainment have just released a series of videos featuring story and gameplay segments narrated by a number of their staff members, giving us insight as to what we should expect from their upcoming title in a new Web Series.
Now, if you're anything like us, there's a good chance you're looking forward to this title. From the creative minds behind Life is Strange and Remember Me, Vampyr is set in 1918 and takes place within four unique districts of Post-Victorian London. As a Doctor and creature of the night, you have the ability to give life and to take it away. On the one hand you have the ability to help your fellow men, women and children, yet on the other, if you're to upgrade your powers at all, you'll need to murder and feed on your victims to accumulate experience points. No blood? No power.
DONTNOD want your moral choices to matter. What could be the right thing to do in one instance could be catastrophic in another. Morally ambiguous interactions are interwoven within this games narrative. It's possible to kill practically everyone you come across, should you so desire and should you wish to remain a pacifist from start to finish, you'll find this to also be an option. Whatever you decide, the path ahead won't be an easy one to tread.
